Opened a school for the Mohegans in CT in 1830, in Samson Occom's sister's house.
Believes that the Indians are part of the tribe of Israelites.
Asks gov't for additional money for the school but says that more education for the Mohegans would be "no obstacle" if the US decides they need to be removed west.
